Luigi is co-owner and sole director of BioMRF Technologies S.r.l. (established in 1993 in Udine, Italy).He received a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Trieste and covered a unique career: general manager of Daneco Danieli-Ecologia S.p.A., adjunct researcher at the Noise Control Center of the Pennsylvania State University, director of the Applied Acoustics Center at the Area Science Park (Trieste), Environment vice-president of Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche S.p.A., technical manager and managing director of Ecomaster. His experience includes process/engineering design and hands-on commissioning of dozens of air pollution control and solid waste projects in Europe, Middle East, Far East and North America.Inventor of several systems successfully used in the fields of environment protection and resource recovery, including capture of steelmaking fumes (Singapore,1981), VOCs control for scrap shredder (Brescia, 2010) and waste biodrying for RDF production (1987).Luigi authored and co-authored various papers on waste treatment published in conference proceedings (Italy, Germany, USA).Specialties: composting, air biofiltration, waste sorting, noise control.
