The evOs platform deals with the E2E management of electric vehicle recharges through the Charging Station; takes care of the entire life cycle necessary for electric recharging, therefore from the management of the Provisioning / commissioning of the Charging Station on the platform until the end of the recharging and issue of the CDR towards the billing system.It is a platform based on microservices deployed on IAAS AWS Amazon. It consists of about 11 microservices each of which manages its own database. The services communicate internally in 3 ways:1. gRPC framework (based on HTTP2 protocol) for the management of synchronous communications2. Kafka broker for asynchronous communication management3. API RESTBoth top-ups on public and private CS are managed by the platforms. At DB level, the following products are present:• MongoDB as DB NoSQL for the optimization of some core charging flowsIt also uses a Redis cache for performance purposes to handle some messages.There is also a WEB application through which Enel users and operators are able to extract information through searches and graphics. The platform integrates with other systems such as:• IoT Platform• Mobile app• Billing system• X-Customer Platform to create case on particular event of alarm• Incoming and outgoing calls from the platform take place in REST / JSON mode.The metodology used in this project was Agile. For the deploy and software release management was used the Atlassian platform.For developments, the following technologies are used Spring Boot, Java, Docker and Kubernetes for microservices, Envoy as a proxy.
