Reporting to EMEAC VP Market Access & Governmental Affairs, lead and manage Edwards Italy Organization, with the aim to optimize business, operation and employee performance, representing the Company vs. National and local Authorities and Professional Associations.- Direct management of Finance and Operations team (Customer Service, Bids & Tenders).- Direct management of local Governmental, Communication and Market Access activity, in full alignment with European Market Access team.- Coordination of Key Accounting activities among Business Units.- Coordination of relationships with Local Industry Associations.

Support to Edwards Business Units, and customers (doctors and hospital general managers) providing them with information on health economics topics and tailor-made economic evaluations.To liase with Governing Bodies such as Ministry of Health, Regional Health Authorities and Hospital Administrations, in order to support and develop strategies for a early introduction of healthcare innovative solutions in the current clinical practice.Project Manager of Pan-European Value proposition projects,on Cardiac surgery products.Development of intenal training activities on Health Economics topics for sales representative and managers.Direct report to VP Europe Governamental Affairs.

Coordinator of Reimbursement Area: monitoring national and local (regional) activities on reimbursement (i.e. DRG tariffs, outpatient care, etc.) regarding medical devices and health technologies and giving advice to member companies on medical device reimbursement matters. Developing and coordinating Health Technology Assessment activities and public positions by the association.Coordinator of Regulatory Affairs Area: monitoring and giving advice to member companies on European and national regulatory matters (i.e. European Directives, Italian Commission on Medical Device, etc.). Member of several technical working groups in the Italian standard bodies (UNI, CEI), for the development of European technical standards for medical devices.
