In accordance with the company’s procedures, statutory and project requirements, I plan and organise design resources to meet design delivery programme and ensure that all project staff are fully conversant with the scope of service. Main accomplishments are:- Most Economically Advantageous Tenders (MEAT) for road and railway infrastructure;- AASHTO Flexible Pavement Structural Design;- Steel composite bridge design;- Abutment design;- Cantiliver and piling wall design;- Bridge Structural Monitoring System;- Breakwater design

Managing the day to day running of civil and/or structural engineering projects under their control whilst assisting in the production and delivery of those projects and offering design support and developing skills and experience in all areas of the business.Duties and Responsibilities: • Ensuring that all project staff are fully conversant with the project brief, scope of service and associated timescales • Record any design changes prior to being carried out whilst liaising with line manager Supervise and/or undertake technical and feasibility studies including site investigations • Supervise and/or check complex calculations and drawings • Impart detailed knowledge and experience of Engineering Section Agreements • Impart detailed knowledge and experience of design guidance and legislation • Develop awareness and knowledge of managing junior staff whilst fulfilling existing duties, including mentoring and coaching on technical design matters

I manage the Design Team to ensure that designs are produced in accordance with the company’s procedures, statutory and project requirements and to meet agreed deadlines.Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Agree project design programmes and deliverables with Operations Manager2. Plan and organise design resources to meet design delivery programme3. Ensure that the required information is available to enable designs to be completed 4. Ensure that designs that are produced that are efficient to manufacture5. Advise Operations Manager of design progress and any changes to design programme6. Act as project designer7. Ensure that designs are produced in accordance with company procedures 8. Check that completed designs are in accordance with project cost assumptions9. Arrange for designs to be approved to construction status with Client10. Issue schedule of materials requirements and specification to Operations Manager 11. Issue approved drawings to Operations Manager12. Ensure incoming and outgoing design information is correctly managed13. Maintain company technical software.
