Topic: “Hydrothermal treatment of orange peel: characterization of solid residues”. The aim of the project is giving more value to food waste trying to recover more value added products. This is a process in which some food waste or simply biomass may be used to provide new intermediates compounds for the productions of widespread products. It was studied the change of the conditions of reaction in different parameters. The investigation is focused in the analysis of the liquid phase and of the solid residue from orange peel by hydrothermal carbonization.
