Store Manager for Canadian Tire 462 in Shawnessy, Calgary, AB.

I managed all store operations during this role. I looked after budgets, scheduling, retail and logistics. I was introduced to ordering while in this role as well. We were proud to have the highest average basket growth across all of Canada in 2022 and we were also leaders in our dealer group for sales growth!

Responsible for managing all retail operations and processes for the construction and opening of the new Canadian Tire store in Moose Jaw, SK.

Accepted a role as Logistics Manager in Moose Jaw to learn about and help with the building of a new Canadian Tire. The new store will double the footprint of the old store and will boast 62,000 sqft. of retail floor. During my time with store 263, we became the first store in the province to launch Phase 4 of receiving. As Logistics Manager, I am responsible for overseeing the e-commerce, receiving, warehouse, promo, primary/secondary filling, and overnight teams.

Responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations including e-commerce, fulfillment, PROACTIVE filling systems, receiving, and stocking, as well as core retail store operations.

Manager for Hardware and Houseware Departments: After two years, both departments led the store in sales growth and KPIs. • Encourage and maintain a culture that values excellent customer service to all customers through effective training, supervision, coaching and performance management.• Hold team members accountable for providing an excellent customer experience and recognize those who excel in it.• Lead by example and consistently deliver an excellent customer experience.• Implement and follow store policies and procedures that deliver a high quality customer experience.• Maintain quality department presentation, through daily inspections and ensure all store audit performance requirements are met in the department.• Ensure department is appropriately staffed through effective planning and scheduling and according to store budget and customer needs.• Supervise and assist team members in daily departmental operations in order to meet established productivity goals.• Consistently follow up on work and projects on the floor in order to measure progress and address issues immediately, while being visible and available for team members and customers.• Communicate and ensure compliance with company, store and department policies, as well as health and safety programs and regulations.• Assist in selecting and orientating new employees, store opening and closing responsibilities.• Coach and encourage team members in learning new retail operational processes and procedures and new skills in order to improve performance. Regularly provide informal and constructive feedback.

Primary Responsibilities: • Merchandise store to company Plan-O-Gram direction• Coordinate store signage and pricing (labels)•Direct store freight flow and receiving processes/procedures• Coordinate stockroom organization, including EOS pack-away• Perform top stock management for inventory replenishment• Address sales floor inventory levels through cycle counts• Coordinate merchandise transfers, damages/RTVs/Recalls• Merchandise in-store merchandising to address NOP and maximize presentationVarious other management responsibilities.

Associate with supervisory responsibilities at the front end; the Front End Coordinator (FEC) supervises cashiers, all POS processes and the balloon counter.
