Throughout my childhood, I saw the effort my parents put into their work in order to care for me and my brothers, which inspired me to become as hard-working as them. This is why I started working as soon as I found the time to do so, starting with small gigs like mowing lawns and helping out in construction sites, and then moving onto opportunities in the restaurant industry. These jobs helped me obtain skills such as being able to manage my time efficiently, multitask, work under pressure, and focus on smaller details. Additionally, I have also received a few promotions that have helped me gain leadership skills while also making me a more responsible and dependable person.Although most of my positions have been in the restaurant industry, I feel the need to better myself and upgrade my skills, which is why I am pursuing a degree in Automotive Science. I chose this area because recently I developed a deep passion for cars after buying my first car and customizing it to my liking. Being able to open the hood of my car and easily understand what makes it go truly fascinates me, yet it also makes me think about what I could do to make it better. I hope to use this fascination and curiosity to someday help other people in fixing and improving their cars.As passionate as I am about cars, my end goal goes beyond the automotive industry. My dream job is not to drive and work on cars, but rather to become a pilot and fly around the world. I grew up watching my dad work in the airline industry and talk about the different kinds of commercial airplanes that are used nowadays along with those that will be used in the future, which sparked a great interest in these aircrafts and in commercial flying. I hope to someday become a great pilot that will help people in their travels to explore new places, close business deals, or just visit their loved ones.
