As a Tool Technician I am responsible for the maintenance and repair of molds and tooling fixtures used throughout the company. My Job Functions are; *The safe operation of all tool room equipment including hoists, lift trucks, sand blasting equipment, and machinery related to the machine tool trades i.e. mills, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, and power hand tools used in preparing tooling for injection molding operations.*Always adhering to all personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.*Performing tasks related to mold and die maintenance in a safe and efficient manner.*Maintaining all mold and tooling preparation paperwork in accordance with quality standards as outlined in Tool Room work instructions.*Set up and operate mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and use any hand-held power tools needed to perform maintenance and repairs on mold, die, and fixture tooling used in the production environment.*follow directions from plant management, engineering department as well as supervisors.*Possess basic blueprint reading skills.*Providing support to injection molding floor operations during each shift while in the plant when assistance is requested.*Performing math calculations and read measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other instruments used in performing tool room tasks.*Reporting accidents or mistakes when they happen immediately no matter how small the problem.*Giving information to peers and management in a concise and efficient manner.*Displaying a positive attitude.*Working closely with engineering and management to identify areas of opportunity for improvement.*I continue to improve myself and help the team achieve a successful goal attainment. Also maintain the Tool Room through good housekeeping practices while helping build a world class work environment.

As a technical service advisor my role is to assist NDS customer(s), NDS sales team quality control and engineering. I assist our customers by recommending products and solutions to their needs. Help them with product take offs and provide drainage and/or drip designs. Assist in the settling of disputes between home owners and contractors. Help them navigate through NDS website and catalogs and provide them with a list of distributors in/near their area. I assist the NDS sales team by answering questions to contactor and engineers and recommending product solutions. Assist them with customer take off (figure out parts that they need). Create and/or provide products specs and enter replacement and/or sample orders when needed. I assist the Engineering and production team by being a link between them and the customer. I track product issues and assist in identifying the cause of failure. This data assist in the redesign of product or changes needed for future production of product.

as a quality inspector I helped to maintain our product in accordance to ASTM standards. As a Lead Quality Control inspector I am in charge of inspecting all of the product/WIP components that we get from our vendors; such as Brass Nuts, SS Screws, Gaskets, O-rings, and Cut-Case Labels. I also inspect all of the outsource product that we get from our vendors such as China and Normandy, and make sure that they meet our requirements. I also aid our inspectors in the inspection of our product by clarifying any doubts that they may have and finding the information they need to for their inspections. Another of my duties is the processing of RMA’s, this which has given me better insight of how our product is used and what are some of the issues our customers are facing, I also aid the Quality Control Supervisor in maintaining records of both production and outsourcing documents. I have created a more organized way to keep such records, which has greatly helped us on our last inspections conducted by IAMPMO and NSF. We have now been able to provide them with the documents/certifications they need in a fast and organized manner.

As a Parts Sales Manager, I was in charge of selling the costumer the right part that was needed to repair their problems. Due to the trouble shooting experience and training I possessed I was able to improve our customer satisfaction by providing them with the best solution possible for their problems. I also was in charge of claims and regular returns, and was able to satisfy the needs of the majority of our customers. During my short period on this job I was able to learn the majority of our parts and products as well as the most common concern costumers had. I aided the store manager in the opening and closing of the store as well as scheduling when needed.

I served as an Engineer Equipment Technician for 4 years in the USMC, As such I was in charge of maintaining all of our Engineering equipment above a 98% combat readiness. I was quickly acknowledged for my troubleshooting skills as well as my mechanical knowledge of the equipment. For my performance during my enlistment I went to 2 meritorious promotion boards and finished my service with the rank of SGT. Among my decorations are 3 letters of commendation as well as a NAM (Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal).
