Model used by different teams within the company (see link) - Proposed and supervised three master thesis projects based on company needs: out-of-distribution data detection, automated car inspection and few shot learning for image classification. - Organized student intern seminar to provide updates on the multiple research projects at the company.

Computer vision project on the identification of asbestos in electron microscopy images and train part defects inphotographs- Implemented image segmentation model with convolutional neural networks using Tensorflow.- Doubled the performance of asbestos detection as measured by the F1 score with respect to existingheuristic approaches.

Worked in the development of an electrical conductivity measuring device for carbon based nanomaterials. Worked on the characterization of physical properties in functionalized carbon nanomaterials. Results were published in two papers. One of the papers was selected as one of the 72 most representative papers from chemical science in Mexico by the Royal Society of Chemistry: RSC Advances.Bachelor thesis project.
