Developed expertise regarding vendors and OEM warranty terms and their industry standards. Utilized heavy research and analysis of current contracts and agreements internally and externally to provide best fit, form and function for the company in conjunction with reviewing Reliability & Engineering data for potential warranty claims.Received over $1M in concessions from warranty claims. Validated reliability increases utilizing Service Bulletins and Service Information Letters to ensure positive component performance.Assisted in identifying and reviewing new sources of supply for their warranty terms and processes. Investigated the potential to re-negotiate vendor warranty terms and policies. Identified and tracked cost drivers as well as coordinated reductions. Tracked and maintained various departmental metrics and KPI’s for senior management review. Developed SOP’s to streamline various day to day departmental functions as and worked with OEMs in developing and improving the warranty repair process from start to finish.

Duties consisted of supervising 38 Materials Specialists and 4 Lead Material Specialist in coordinating all stockroom activity, coordinating stockroom personnel staffing functions (scheduling, disciplinary, training) . Other duties consisted of overseeing several inventory related programs (tools, cycle counts, service bulletin kits and assisted in streamlining processes to increase and improve the requisitioning and distribution of inventory to maintenance.
