Agronomy, MS and PhD in plant breeding and 10 months in USA, the professional career started as Research manager in an Embrapa Foundation at Bahia. For about 22 years at Corteva Agriscience, worked as leader on the establishment and expansion of soybean breeding efforts in Brazil with the following responsibilities:• first 12 years worked as breeder and site lead with the development of high performance team and the release of numerous and very successful varieties;• the last 10 years, leading the soybean breeding effort with multiple research stations and diverse teams under direct or shared responsibility such germplasm, molecular breeding, data analysis, advancement, trait integration, etc• as well, worked with selection and integration of transgenic trait/events into elite germplasm• as member of the Pioneer Brazil Board extended responsibility to the whole business, supporting decisions to the best interest of the company in all areas and crops.In summary, more than 20 years of Product development/positioning, Research, Data analysis and People Leadership experience.
