At a young age I started to shadow my grandfather every summer while he managed DIAL, a business he started in 1969. I supervised his cattle and hogs harvested at PROMDECA a meat processing facility in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. My grandfather taught me the commodity markets, the importance relationships, and how trust drives business in agriculture.This experience allowed me exposure and understanding of food production, which lead me to pursue a college education in ANSC in the USA.Inspired by the American Dream and being in the land of opportunity I now help supply beef and pork for the world’s largest fast-food chain. My job is like playing Tetris, you are constantly dealing with the same factors under different scenarios. Always striving to make the best decision to sustain the flow of raw materials for the production of finished patties.Aiming to achieve the highest score while remaining in a balanced position.
