I am a Graduate of the Missouri University of Science and Technology and a recipient of two degrees in Civil and Architectural Engineering. I have always had a passion for the engineering discipline because of the important role engineers play in society. As engineers, all work begins in the interest of head, hand, and heart: using personal knowledge, craftsmanship/expertise, and the ethical/moral obligation we face to solve problems in the interest of public wellbeing. I aspire to fulfill that role.While attending Missouri S&T, I served as treasurer to the school’s chapter of the Associated General Contractor’s, an organization that looks to develop students interested in pursuing the construction field, and has been pivotal to my success and understanding of the industry. I was also a member of the Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers, a group responsible for the empowerment and growth of aspiring engineers within the Hispanic/Latin community, a community of which I proudly identify with. Lastly, I participated in Army ROTC, and received a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant and engineer in the Missouri Army National Guard.My enjoyments and hobbies during my spare time include outside sports such as tennis and golf, cooking and learning new recipes, and meeting/connecting with new people.
