Provide communication support by planning and conducting training on the employment, setup, and operation of equipment for 150 employees. Plan and execute field training exercises ensuring coordination of people and equipment, documentation of training conducted, and accountability of all assets once complete. Provide IT helpdesk support with network connectivity, program installation, switch maintenance, and equipment upgrade for 160 employees and over 100 assets. Identify, process, and complete background investigations as required to the eligibility for a security clearance using Defense Information Security System and assign active clearance statuses as needed.

Manage a team of volunteers collecting, sorting, and distributing toys to families in need during the Christmas holiday season. Contracted building spaces used for daily activities including utilities and insurance needs, and leased vehicles for the transport of people and assets. Planned and managed over 10 community relation events annually to promote the program, collect toys, engage people, and track monetary donations. Collaborated with the local businesses and leaders to establish collection points throughout an area of over 850 square miles and coordinated the set-up and gathering of toy collection bins. Planned and managed distribution days to screen and deliver toys to those in need.

Managed four sections within the communications field; Radio Systems, Data Systems, Network Communications, and Communications Maintenance, consisting of 75 employees to provide a full spectrum of communications support to 5 Marine Corps squadrons consisting of F/A-18, F-35, and C-130 platforms and over 5500 customers. Assessed a need for secure communications between the different customers and implemented a robust radio network to allow all squadrons to communicate with each other in real-time. Design training material in the employment and operation of dedicated communication systems to be able to self-support. Traveled and established communications networks in different real-world environments and scenarios.

Led a team of employees in the maintenance, planning, and employment of radio networks to provide support to external customers. Responsible for the professional development of all employees and the daily tasks of asset maintenance, direct training, scheduling of PTO, and educational opportunities. Designed and implemented new processes to establish radio networks reducing the time needed to give customers the requested support in an expedited manner. Reviewed and amended training standards to provide improved support to requesting customers. Trained entry-level individuals to perform at higher levels of responsibility fostering team cohesion and company retention.

Focused on the strategy to screen, interview, and process highly qualified individuals that met and exceeded company core values. Drove team member training in seeking and interviewing potential applicants to generate results in achieving company target goals. Enhanced relationships with institutions of higher learning by engaging with the organizational leadership to establish policies and procedures that were reciprocally beneficial. Assisted with the interview process in selecting senior managers for direct hire into the Marine Corps.
