CurrentResponsible for managing a team of engineers, lead system designers, V&V leads and contractors, and the engineering infrastructures, as well as directly contributing to the development of technical solutions for products.• Managing team of LSDs responsible for risk retirement, development, detail design, and integration strategies of new C-Arm platforms and features, install-based (IB) improvements, and components obsolescence projects. • Managing team of V&V leads and contractors responsible for testing strategy planning and execution across multiple projects, new product introduction (NPI), and IB.• Managing teams of architects and engineers responsible for providing the strategic vision and roadmap for automation for verification, reliability, and manufacturing testing; technical publications, and usability for NPIs and improvements to IB.• Providing technical knowledge/differentiation in product development while leading people, managing projects based on project complexity and manpower assessment, optimizing project cycle timeline, budget, cost, and resources, aiding in the business planning processes, and handling customer interaction (DOD, public, and private entities).• Leading growth of the engineering team by supporting recruiting & hiring efforts, providing mentorship while managing the performance of direct reports, and identifying functional needs/gaps. Also, evaluating and implementing engineering processes, tools, and standards, enabling more effective design documentation and knowledge sharing across the organization.• Managing the engineering teams’ infrastructure, optimizing networks and assets based on team needs while maintaining industry standards, cybersecurity requirements and adapting to technology changes.
