o Responsible for overall efficient and effective Service Center operations regarding pick-up and delivery personnel and services o Ensures all material is picked up and delivered from/to all area accounts in accordance with DHL guidelines, customer expectations and government regulations o Ensures safe, efficient and timely handling and transportation of all customer materials o Develops operations plans and budgets based on goals and objectives o Supervises two or more staff; responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and developing subordinate staff o Assigns work, sets completion dates, reviews work, and manages performance in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and performance management processes

• Impeccable customer service. • Perform audit review on all assigned brokerage files and payments to customs. • Maintain and keep current all customs compliance documentation. • Process documents through the Company’s ABI system, obtaining Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate. Arrange both delivery and the invoicing of the import account for services rendered. • Adhere to all domestic and international shipping regulations. • Mandatory daily correspondence with overseas offices. • Work closely with other departments to deliver high level of service to customers. • Works closely with approved carriers, builds those relationships while expediting the shipments and controlling cost of Import shipments. • Keeps everyone informed as to status of shipments using excellent communication skills • Pays close attention to details with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, adaptability and responsiveness

• Process documents through the Company’s ABI system, obtaining Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate. Arrange both delivery and the invoicing of the import account for services rendered. • File break/down, classifying data entry, photocopying, scanning and some assembling of entries.• Auditing commercial documents, applying harmonized tariff schedule code for accurate duty assessment and to ensure all federal requirements are met.• Document review and assessment of accuracy, verifying country of origin/export, IOR, terms of sale and value to ensure that compliance and federal regulation requirements are achieved.• Daily follow up on documentation discrepancy issues which requires the ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers and foreign origins.
