I led the development, design and delivery of our carbon footprinting reports in line with the recommendations of the TCFD. I oversaw the delivery of this service across our client base. My expertise focused around the metrics and methodologies available to measure climate risk and impact, as well as the practical delivery of outputs in a scalable way. I trained client teams and clients on the latest metrics and methodologies available, as well as developed and advised on reporting products and processes.

Redington designs, develops and delivers investment strategies to help pension schemes reach their funding goals. The company’s objective is to improve people's financial futures. First, we design, develop and deliver investment strategies to institutional pension funds across the globe that ensure pensioners are paid what they are due, helping to solve the current crisis. Second, we help develop the new system for retirement provision: one that provides adequately for retirees, is sustainable for governments, and is robust to vast market fluctuations. Third, we provide financial education to young people in the UK in order to help them prepare for their futures.Under my current role I am responsible for:o Delivery of enhanced Manager Monitoring reports for our biggest Defined Benefit Pension clients as well as assisting investment consultants with ad hoc requests and questions over our ESG reporting. o Writing quarterly Responsible Investment updates for all our clients.o Writing investment commentary for our client’s credit mandates in our Manager Monitoring reports. o Providing ESG-related summaries from relevant webinars and meetings with fund managers.o Currently leading the development of our Responsible Investing reporting service alongside client, external and firmwide input.

I joined Redington in February 2017 to help build the newly set up Reporting team. I sourced, analysed, and investigated investment data as well as met with Fund Managers to produce continually evolving client reports. My responsibility was to standarise, build and deliver the design and presentation of our Manager Monitoring Reports. This included building relationships with Asset Managers, building an internal database and a robust data collection process, and implementing an automatable calculation and checking system to guarantee delivery of client reports to the highest standard. I also supported ad hoc ESG projects such as conducting research on the ESG reporting of our asset managers.

Produced the quantitative datasets that form the basis for an empirical study examining the impact of perceived risk of violence on people's aspirations towards the future in illegaly occupied Palestine. This research merged field behavioural experiments with qualitative and quantitative data sourced from the UN Office for Coordination Affairs (UNOCHA), Peace Now, and BT'Selem.

• Shadowed a leading barrister in the areas of public and family law, mainly in immigration related cases.• Proof-read and suggested corrections for a book on Tony Blair and the IRA.• Assisted with legal research for an active case about an EEA denial of citizenship appeal.• Drafted attendance notes for solicitors, registered adjournment dates, and judge's verdicts on cases.• Discussed live cases and corresponding skeleton arguments with barrister supervisor.

- Provided analysis to explain political, institutional and economic changes in a number of MENA countries since the 1970s.- Provided explanatory summaries of economic graphs and governance and human rights related indicators.- Created condensed summaries of dozens of academic papers and political commentary on the impacts of the Arab spring.

o Coordinated a number of successful campaigns in support of the Palestinian struggle. This includes securing humanitarian scholarships for students from Gaza, changing the university’s security provider, and kick-starting a campaign for divestment from arms companies.o Organised and chaired a range of events. Amongst them feature an inter-university panel with over 300 guests, two ticketed cultural nights with over a hundred attendees, and panels with leading academics and journalists such as Max Blumenthal and Abdel Razzaq Takriti.

(Social Sciences and Public Policy, and Ethics and Environment officer) o Elected student councillor for three consecutive years.o Designed and researched more democratic structure for the union which I then pitched to council and hundreds of students. The proposal was voted in and the union underwent a review of its internal structures as a result.o Created a unique Ethics board conformed by college and union staff, and students to integrate ethical and sustainability at every level in the college and union. This contributed to the creation of the Socially Responsible Investment Review Committee at KCL.o Pioneered the first union in the UK to shift its finances (over £1 million) to a more ethical bank and an investment of 30% of the union’s assets in an active ethical investment at Triodos Bank. o Designed in consultation with students and experts, an ethical policy for KCLSU which now is being used as a benchmark for the college to adopt.

• Fundraised in London to buy materials in Palestine, published and maintained the online diaries of the project, created an informative video of our work, and conducted first hand research and work on the ground in Palestine.

The programme consisted of 3 month rotations across the Risk Consulting department which is part of KPMG's Advisory sector. The role involved a mixture of client project work, proposal development, research and analysis work, and internal administration.Some of the roles undertaken:• Sole administrator of a winning 20 million pounds bid proposal to establish the global Information Risk Management function of a supermajor Oil and Gas energy company. • Project related research work and benchmarking work for clients on the field of competition economics and regulation mainly across the insurance and telecommunication industries. • Translation and interpretation of legal & technical phraseology of a cross border dispute between a state government and an automobile services firm over the terms of a contract and its consequent implications.• Secondment to client site: Key role on a data access management validation project for a major bank client where cohesive teamwork, frequent team knowledge sharing and tactful communication with the client was essential.
