Legal Entity manager of the Citi Business Services Legal entity supporting all operations in Costa Rica under the free zone regime.

Responsible for managing the in charge of the Financial Books and Records covering all aspects of the US GAAP Accounting and Reporting including, but not limited to the preparation of the USGAAP Financial Statements for Citi Legal Entities, working closely with the Cluster and Functions Controllers to analyze and ensure financials are correctly reported, allowing them to sign off for the financial statements and Citi to externally disclose information.Responsible for the coordination of the Global Financial Close Governance supporting the Controllers in all regions and partnering with Corporate Reporting and Technology to ensure full coordination and accountability on the execution of the Finance Month End deliverables, escalating and bringing to resolution issues that impact the financial reporting process.Responsible to provide overall financial reporting services, analytical insights and reasonability check of financial results for the Corporate and Consumer business on the multiple product lines and geographies across Latin America and North America.

Responsible to guarantee that the USGAAP Regulatory Reporting process complies with all the regulatory requirements from the USA regulatory authority (FED) for all the Legal Vehicles under the Citibank conglomerate in Brazil.Responsible for the Management Reporting process for all the business segments (Corporate clients and Consumer clients) to guarantee accurate information for the decision-making process. Conduct monthly reviews of the actuals to understand and explain deviations against prior periods supporting senior management in the decision-making process.Finance subject matter expert on the Consumer Bank divestiture process during 2016/2017 – sale of the consumer business to banco Itau.

Responsible for the FP&A area for the Corporate and Commercial Banking divisions of Citi in Brazil and for the consolidation of the Country and Cluster financials. Main responsibilities are:- Prepare and approve with Senior Management and the Business Head the Annual Budget as well as Strategic Plans and sensitivity scenarios.- Conduct periodic reviews of the forecast, trying to anticipate risks and opportunities to the business and supporting senior management in the decision-making process.- Prepare and present variance analysis (actual versus forecast) for senior management.- Manage the Variable Compensation program for the sales force.

Consolidation of the financials of all the business in Brazil and South Cone (Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay), supporting the country CFO and CEO.

Reporting to the Cards/Consumer Finance CFO I was responsible for the Finance area for Cards and Consumer Finance business in Brazil, managing the FP&A processes, Client Profitability Analysis and Management Information System (MIS).
