Litigation & Arbitration.

My practice had been centered on litigations of civil nature, family as well as penalties of economic nature, with a strong approach on alternative resolution of conflicts especially those concerning mediation and negotiation (drafting agreements). Likewise, I have litigated before the Higher Courts of Justice of Chile (Court of Appeals and Supreme Court).

I took part as examiner of biddings in the process of tender of mediation services. My duties consisted of reviewing the offers entered by different institutions (Universities, Foundations, Corporations, Companies, etc.) which intended to carry out mediation services as well as to study if the above mentioned tenders effectively complied the current regulatory frame. (fixed term work).

I became a part of the editing team of the Justice in The Americas Report in its 2008/2009 version. This Report describes the principal characteristics of the legal systems of the countries which are part of the OAS (Organization of American States) and it simultaneously delivers updated statistical information on how they are currently working, with the purpose of allowing the access and exchange to legal information in the region and to promote its production and publication. For this purpose I compiled information from different sources and served as connection between the JSCA and diverse institutions (judicial power, district attorney's offices, public defenses, Bar associations, universities, etc.) to obtain official and direct information.
