Luis Gil es un arquitecto mexicano con un enfoque práctico y experimental, especializado en estructuras innovadoras de madera. Se graduó de la Universidad Iberoamericana y posteriormente se especializó en Tecnologías de Transformación Material en Cento. Obtuvo su maestría en Design & Make de la Architectural Association de Hooke Park.En 2020, fundó Casa de Materiales, un taller dedicado al diseño y desarrollo de estructuras de madera que combinan técnicas tradicionales con nuevas tecnologías, basado en un profundo conocimiento de materiales y en el dominio de tecnologías estructurales complejas.Desde 2022, lidera Taller oh, una oficina de arquitectura enfocada en diseñar para construir, motivados por el amor al detalle y la adaptación al entorno. Actualmente, divide su tiempo entre el taller de madera, su práctica arquitectónica y la enseñanza.
