In one hand i had the responsability to study all the equipement used to do quality control measurements, that means that i had to study all the calibration data over the last 10 years or so, so… Show more This was my bachelor's graduatre internship, it was the beggining of an extraordinary and exciting time, full of new adventures and new skills acquired.I started my journey at Saint-Gobain R&D as an engineer assistant, some of my tasks where well defined but others came allong the road. In one hand i had the responsability to study all the equipement used to do quality control measurements, that means that i had to study all the calibration data over the last 10 years or so, so i could solve some issues related to the stability or variation of the measurements.In the other hand i had the responsability to teach the instrumentation and metrology basics to the laboratory technicians. In order to do that i fitted my "instrucor pants", i scheduled some meetings and herd their issues and questions. Then i proceed to explain to them the concepts and helped to understand a little more about this subject.Many of other tasks where presented to me during my time at Saint-Gobain R&D, such as uncertainty calculation and contact with the instrumentation and metrology providers.My skills acqured during this time were : - Teaching : pass my knowledge to other persons- Communication : being able to sumarised and explain some complex definitions - Metrology and instrumentation : do and extensive study about the stability and drift of the measurements. My main obfectif was to calibrate the sensors that ensure the proper functioning of "HVAC" systems (heating, ventilating and air conditioning), also my work colleagues and I were responsible to validate the climatic chambers of the stock and test departement.My skills used in this internship were : - Instrumentation and metrology knowledge such as calibration and metrology norms.- Communication with the quality control ant validation engineers. - Fieldwork.- Qualification and verification of measurement systems.I have learnt a lot from my brief time at this ccompany, i was able to watch closely the internal functioning of on of the biggest pharmaceutical companies, but more than that, i really enjoyed my time in the moroccan culture.
