As a Construction Management student at the University of Washington, graduating in 2026, I'm dedicated to continual learning and professional development. I've had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience as a Field Engineer Intern at Flatiron Construction, contributing to the I-405 Project, and I continue to apply these experiences to my academic journey. Before diving into construction management, I served with the U.S. Navy Seabees, leading a team of 30 equipment operators. This experience sharpened my leadership skills, built my respect for discipline, and gave me a deep appreciation for teamwork and operational efficiency, qualities that are essential in construction.I'm particularly passionate about sustainable and socially responsible construction practices. As a member of the American Concrete Institute's University of Washington Chapter, I work closely with my peers to represent our university in national civil engineering and construction management competitions, with sustainability being a key focus of our team. Together, we explore innovative solutions to address the challenges we face in these competitions. In addition to my time with Flatiron, I've worked as a Civil and Structural Engineering Research Assistant at the University of Washington. I had the chance to collaborate with graduate and PhD students on research that addresses key structural and civil engineering challenges, deepening my commitment to innovative, practical approaches in construction. My skill set is diverse. I'm certified as an Operating Engineer and Heavy Truck Driver through the Department of Labor, and I hold a CDL Class A license. I'm also fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing me to work effectively with a wide range of teams.I’m always open to connecting with professionals in the industry, sharing ideas, and exploring opportunities for collaboration. My focus is on creating positive impacts in construction through sustainable practices and responsible project management. Let's connect and find ways to work together to drive the future of construction.
