As the State Director for the United States Senate, I oversee the operations and activities of U.S. Senator Mark Kelly's state office to ensure that the Senator's legislative priorities and agenda are communicated and implemented in the state.My core competencies include developing and implementing policy objectives and strategies, directing and supervising state employees, planning and coordinating events and programs, engaging and building relationships with community, business and elected leaders. In full intergration with the chief of staff, senior staff, and our entire team in DC, we work to advance the Senator's vision and values. I have a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes and results in various settings and roles, such as Executive Director for the Arizona Education Association, District Director at the U.S. House of Representatives, and Executive Director for the Arizona Democratic Party. I have a Master's degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington and I am a Woodrow Wilson/PPIA Fellow at Public Policy Institute. I am also fluent in Spanish and have strong social networking and strategic communication skills.
