My goal is to optimize manufacturing systems, processes, standards, and tooling to achieve maximum production efficiency and high-quality standards in the most cost-effective manner.Responsibilities and Achievements: .- Leadership and Supervision: Provide day-to-day direction to various manufacturing teams, including laser cutting, press braking, welding, powder coating, and assembly. .- Hands-On Approach: Take a hands-on approach to mechanical solutions and manufacturing process improvements, ensuring operational efficiency. .- CAD Design and Modeling: Utilize 2D and 3D CAD software to review models and drawings, creating project layouts for the company. .- Specification Review: Review design specifications to ensure adherence to project and customer requirements, as well as company standards. .- Engineering Solutions: Develop engineering solutions to optimize cost, process efficiency, and delivery schedules. .- Drawing Modifications: Modify engineering drawings by developing additional schematics that depict the cutting, bending, and shaping of sheet metal to produce components and assemblies according to customer drawings. .- Problem Solving: Research and resolve issues encountered during the manufacturing and fabrication of components and assemblies, ensuring smooth production processes. .- Sense of Urgency: Address production-related issues promptly, implementing new product designs and changes to existing designs quickly and efficiently.With strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude, I ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently, meeting both production and quality goals.
