As a Mechanical Design Engineer in Importaciones Boia I created detailed designs and specifications for new sheet metal products, specifically stainless steel industrial kitchen equipment, using CAD software (Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks) In this role I worked closely with the manufacturing floor and oversee the manufacturing processes for sheet metal fabrication I also developed the proper file format for transferring into machines that cut sheet metal and plate using lasers, turret punches and press brakes including fiber laser cutting (TrueLaser 1030), turret punches (TruePunch 1000), press brakes (TrueBend 3120), and welding apparatus (Fanuc ArcMate 100 ic).
