• Manages consumer lending operations, product and pricing strategies, loan portfolios (credit cards, vehicle loans, personal loans, student loans), loan origination and processing, and risk-based lending underwriting.• Collaborates with lending leadership team to establish and develop annual goals and strategies. • Manages consumer lending budget and staff, providing training and education necessary for staff to achieve loan volume and yearly loan production goals. • Hires, develops, retains, and recognizes staff, cultivating an environment that supports communications, teamwork and performance. • Maintains and implements consumer lending policies and procedures that are compliant with current regulatory requirements and lending standards. Develops internal controls. Ensures that loans are properly underwritten, appropriately secured, and adherence to all laws and regulations pertaining to consumer lending including but not limited to NCUA, ECOA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Truth in Lending, CFPB, BSA, and Military Lending Act.• Monitors the results of the Credit Union's consumer lending operations and recommends changes to meet growth and service goals. Analyzes external market and industry trends as well as loan data to identify trends and makes recommendations for driving loan volumes.• Consistently meets loan origination targets, loan capture ratios, approval ratios, and monitors look to book ratios.• Tracks consumer lending satisfaction surveys and develops action plans as needed.​• Serves as Credit Committee Member (Secretary) with lending authority, responsible for administrative duties (creating the agenda, taking meeting minutes), managing lending reports and distribution, as well as standard committee duties (i.e. establish consumer lending guidelines, loan policy/fair lending reviews, loan decisions, member appeals, etc.).
