At Else Labs I am a full time member of the hardware development team, where I contribute with the prototyping of electronic hardware with tasks ranging from the design of electronic PCBs to validation protocols. My position within the hardware team has the following responsabilities:-Development of analog and digital systems-Creation and documentation of electronic schematics and diagrams-Electronic design using Eagle and KiCad-Component analysis and selection for new designs-Creation, upgrade and upkeep of custom component libraries for electronic design-PCB assembly of SMD and THT components with rework stations and soldering irons (Lead and Lead-free)-Inventory and BOM management-Prototype design and manufacturing-Manufacturing of wire harnesses -3D modeling of PCBs using Autodesk Inventor and Fusion 360-Maintenance and repair of electronic device-Debug and troubleshooting of analog and digital systems using tools such as oscilloscopes, signals generators, power supplies, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers. -Firmware development for IoT applications using the particle environment -Hardware and software implementation of microcontrollers using AVR and MSP -Version control with Git-Review of technical documents that included system architecture-Design protocols and methods for testing and validating new product features.-Development of validation protocols and commissioning of newly assembled prototypes-Local and remote customer support
