Until the present date, I have more than 4 years of experience in finance. I am currently working as head of the credit & risk management department for one of the largest investment funds in Ecuador, Fiducia. The firm handles over 300 million in assets investments. In my job, I find myself leading a department in charge of analyzing investments within several economic sectors such as: financial, comercial, industrial, real estate, agro-industrial, automotive, foods, pharmaceutical, among others. Since the beginning, the firm has handled its assets in order to obtain the best risk-benefit indicators, having been able to achieve zero payment defaults and obtaining the best periodic performance returns in the market. Before Fiducia, I was involved for 5 years in the international business sector, where I was able to participate in many companies related to international trading and negotiations involving Asian and European markets. During 2015, I felt a need to generate a greater impact on people and my country. Therefore, I began working as a quality analyst for the ecuadorian national pension fund, IESS. In this way, I was able to combine my profesional life with the social impact that I wanted to create. After 1 year on this position, I became the youngest national administrative coordinator of the institution, contributing to make monetary savings for around 60 million dollars. In addition, I was able to improve efficiency in various processes within the financial area. During 2018, I was transfered to the banking area of the fund. My duties were related to risk analisis and investments management. All of this social and profesional experience has convinced me about my real life interests: creating a social impact in the world throught financial knowledge.
