As a warehouse Manager, I manage a team of 50 employees, including three operations managers and five supervisors, in a 400,000-square-foot facility. Our daily activities involved managing customer accounts, which required high-paced and high-volume pick-and-pack shipments. I am also responsible for overseeing inventory control for large accounts that involved managing 20,000 pallets, including pharmaceutical and food-grade accounts. As the manager of the Shipping and Receiving department, I oversee all aspects of the department's operations. This includes establishing shipping priorities, assigning workloads, determining storage space requirements and availability for warehouse inventory of raw and finished products, and managing quarterly inventory for a fast-paced environment. I have streamlined the shipping process to make the company more efficient and maintain a low cost of quality by enforcing quality practices for the department. I also manage broker's contracts and shipping budgets, and oversee the billing process through HRMs and the Amtech ERP system. To ensure that customer orders are met in full and on time, I work with multiple departments such as customer service, sales, production, and quality to coordinate their orders. Additionally, I maintain DOT standards and training for company drivers, and oversee company transportation equipment maintenance and budget.

As a key player in Sodecia's manufacturing team, I was tasked with overseeing the opening of a new facility dedicated to producing car parts. Managing a team of 35 associates and six production lines, each equipped with advanced welding robots, I ensured that the facility operated at peak efficiency. My role was crucial in supporting the Fair Fax manufacturing facility by implementing a JIT production system, which helped to minimize waste and reduce costs while ensuring that the facility met tight production schedules.
