I have gained over 25 years experience across a number of sectors (insurance, banking, financial services, management advisory, manufacturing and the public sector) in a mixture of financial, technical and commercial leadership roles. I have a strong track record of delivering results and developing strong teams and relationships with key stakeholdersA Chartered Accountant by profession, I have a solid financial background.I have been based in various geographic locations including South Africa, East Africa, Portugal, Spain and Latin America. This has provided me with a valuable insight into different cultures as well as relevant experience in managing large and culturally diverse teams across various locations. As a partner of Deloitte and Ernst Young and, subsequently, as a senior member of the leadership team of Genworth Financial and, currently, Fidelidade, I have had the opportunity to interact at senior levels within these organisations, my clients and government. As head of the international division at Fidelidade, I am responsible for driving growth & synergies across a diverse set of international insurance companies (Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Spain, France, Liechtenstein/ Switzerland/ Germany, Macau, Angola, Mozambique & Cape Verde with a consolidated annual premium contribution to the Fidelidade Group in excess of 1 Billion Euros.In addition, I currently hold various international non executive Board and committee memberships.I am a team player with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and positive outlook who strongly believes in leadership through engagement.
