Luis is a founding partner of Taxand Venezuela. Before Taxand Venezuela, he was a Senior Manager at the Global Transfer Pricing Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers(PwC) in Venezuela. Having participated in hundreds of studies of transfer pricing, in countries like Venezuela, Mexico, Peru, Colombia and the U.S., Luis has gained wide experience in the automotive, energy and pharmaceutical industries. As a partner in charge of transfer pricing practice of Taxand Venezuela, the firm was awarded as the Best Transfer Pricing Firm in 2010, 2011 and 2012 by the International Tax Review.In recent years, he has served as an expert witness in various transfer pricing disputes. In addition, he developed an economic model to demonstrate the confiscation of taxes in a variety of circumstances.
