As a Senior back end developer, helped lead the effort to replatform from Hybris to Workarea.While here, I’ve made sure we are as successful as possible when implementing new features. Making sure other developers were doing things the right way was key in this endeavor.Main duties included: Making sure the work was done properly. Training new developers to ensure their success. Interviewing new prospects. Helping solve problems left and right; over and under.

My job was bought out from Weblinc. After that I kept working on Weblinc clients and then did a lot of integrations with Shopify clients.Was happy to leave the first chance I got.

Leading effort to replatform two URBN brand sites (BHLDN and Terrain) from Weblinc's legacy eCommerce platform to the newest version of @workarea.This included numerous integration not only to custom URBN systems (including inventory/order management and payment gateway), but to other vendors like Afterpay, BazaarVoice, DynamicYield and Salesforce).

Work on back end solutions for database/front-end integration. Currently using Coldfusion and MS SQL on the Weblinc Ecommerce CF platform.

While working on my Ph.D. thesis in Newport News, Virginia, I started to venture into web design/development. At first, it was to improve my own knowledge off existing web technologies, which are so important in the tech world overall. This interest led me to create a web presence for East Coast Poker League, a project that has evolved greatly since its inception.The ECPL site relies heavily on a custom made content management system that houses news content, a public blog, event scheduling and a game/point tracking system. Employees of ECPL use this system on a daily basis to keep track of poker tournament results and to inform players of current promotions and special events.Recently, I incorporated a custom polling system that dynamically calculates results upon submission and shows players how their answer contributed to the total tally. This system was designed in a modular fashion and can be easily scaled to handle any other type of form with any type/combination of inputs and uses the Google Charts API to render the results.While this has been our main client over the years, Differential Designs has also created online homes for artists, a local deli, restaurants and even a tutoring service. We continue to grow and are actively scaling/improving our base system so that it has a full set of useful functionalities out of the box for a diverse set of clients.

·Was on call 24 hours a day throughout the duration of several experiments (HAPPEx-III,PVDIS, PREx) as a Data Acquisition systems expert.·Tested and modified equipment to be used in two different accelerator experiments atJefferson Lab. For the HAPPEx-III experiment, a bench test setup was assembled to testlinearity of photomultipliers that would be used as detectors. For the PREx experiment,extensive testing of analog-to-digital converters, recently developed by JLAB engineers, wasconducted with special software routines. This required extensive knowledge of theelectronics circuitry involved, as well as of the hardware and software used to communicatewith the rest of the Data Acquisition system.·Created GEANT4 code used to simulate High-energy Nuclear Physics experiment to beconducted in the near future. This was accomplished by starting with GEANT3/C code andmaking all the necessary modification to create GEANT4/C++ code that was also compatiblewith the ROOT framework.·Gained expertise in data analysis techniques throughout dissertation work. Led UMASSeffort to analyze large data set from the HAPPEx-III experiment, the results of which havebeen made public and have been submitted for publication.·Acted as local mentor to undergraduate student during the Summer of 2009. During thisperiod, I helped the student learn about our computer systems in order to conduct severaltests on photomultiplier tubes. As a result, the student presented a poster at the 2009 DNPConference titled 'PMT Gain Linearity in HAPPEx III.'

Taught up to 2 labs every term. Labs met once a week for 4 hours and were part of introductory Physics courses.

·Taught Introductory Physics II, an undergraduate summer course with 35 students,covering the following topics: Electrostatics, Magnetostatics, Optics, Modern Physics·Developed quizzes, exams, and homework.·Revised the syllabus to meet accreditation standards.
