As a first-generation college student majoring in Sociology at California State San Marcos, I am passionate about driving positive change.With over four years of experience working with historically underserved populations in nonprofits across Mexico and San Diego, I’ve had the opportunity to develop skills in legal and academic research, public speaking, community outreach, and project management. I’ve gained experience as both a leader and team member, and I remain dedicated to public interest work and improving the well-being of the communities I am committed to serving.Responsible for conducting immigration legal screenings, providing eligibility and risk assessment for individuals and families as needed, preparing immigration filings such as U Visa, VAWA, DACA, citizenship, and mostly humanitarian-based immigration petitions.
