About Luis Narro
Since 2015, I have worked in emerging startup markets, with special focus in Peru and Latin America. Currently, I am an Investor at Alaya Capital, a VC firm investing in Spanish-speaking Latin America. My role includes investor relations, investment analysis and portfolio support. Previously, I was Executive Director at PECAP (Peru’s VC Association), in which I led the organization's growth from 5 founding members to 50 paid-members by Sept. 2021, developed its business model and defined its value proposition (research, public policy and investor community- including organizing PVCC20 & PVCC21, Peru’s main VC event). I also worked at Swiss EP, a global technical assistance program for incubators, accelerators and VC firms in emerging markets, and in COFIDE, Peru’s Development Bank, in which I supported the creation of Peru’s first VC fund of funds.
