Senior Accounting Manager with 15 years of banking, financial management, accounting operations, business development and budgeting experience encompassing a steady progression of increasing accomplishments and responsibilities. In this role, I lead a group of accounting professionals to successfully achieve the Bank's accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic business partners, functional managers and other government agencies. One of my primary responsibilities is the supervision, direction and review of the work of the accounting staff (including, but not limited to, cash reconciliations, account reconciliations, check runs, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions, international wire-transfer activity, recording of revenue and expenses, etc.) to ensure the integrity of the Bank's General Ledger.My position also requires me to regularly write high-level reports and present them to corporate executives. I have excellent problem solving skills and consistently make sound recommendations upon forecasting potential losses and gains in working with potential business partners. In this role, one of my primary tasks is the development and completion of the yearly audit process; which I accomplish by accurately executing the designed reviews and test plans in a timely manner and by documenting the process as per established practices and SOX standards. I have an ability to relate detailed operational and product development decisions to vision and strategic directions, as well as, an ability to communicate technical talk to business partners.
