• Lead negotiations for raw materials setting as a goal to establish terms, conditions and pricing with suppliers.• Communicate targets for delivery, lead time and cost reduction (price agreements) to suppliers.• Support project engineering with part numbers creation, new supplier and standard costs set up in BPCS for new product introductions and transfers from other sites. Ensure we receive samples for validations (including FAI) and enough materials to meet production ramp up per the project timeline.• Work alongside Opex and engineering in developing and implementing cost reduction initiatives for raw materials.• Review and resolve invoice related issues that could impact vendor on time payment.• Support in driving down inventory levels by putting in place VMI programs, contract PO’s, Kanban or consignment programs.• Maintain purchasing terms such as price, lead time, lot size, payment terms, vendor contact info up to date in BPCS/SAP. • Monitor monthly PPV and generate PPV forecast based on price variations, expected volumes and cost savings projects.

• Weekly MRP review and react to exception messages by rescheduling deliveries and issuing purchase orders per standard lead time. Recognize demand patterns and trends based on forecast and historical data.• Lead raw materials pricing negotiations with suppliers.• Ensure consistent inventory flow to minimize stock outs and meet inventory turns metrics.• Manage PPV by reducing costs and establishing long term agreements with key suppliers.

• Main customer service contact for Honda Alabama with an average sales volume of 1.2 million dlls per week.• Generate production plans based on customers requirements, overall production capacity and material availability. • Review manufacturing output based on the daily production efficiency report to best satisfy the customer needs (mix and vol.).• Keep finished good desired inventory levels and perform monthly inventory cycle counts at the plant and distribution centers.• Translate fluctuating demand in to a leveled production forecast with a 10% variation tolerance.• Determine shipping priorities and follow up with production and logistics to ensure on time delivery is accomplished.• Customer delivery or logistics concerns resolution with preventive actions and permanent countermeasures.

• Establish effective customer-supplier relationships with our supply base in Asia (Korea, China, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan & Japan) in order to guarantee on-time delivery and reliable service.• Exception message review and expedite material as needed to meet production requirements.• VMI stock management. • Raw material Inventory management and material on hold follow up.• Attend weekly SOP meeting and notify planning and marketing in case there is a potential risk to the production schedule.
