Collaborating with clients, I was part of a team of engineers implementing AWS-backed solutions to seamlessly digitize our customer’s systems. We worked closely with clients to ensure a smooth transition into production, enabling them to scale and develop their solution. As an application security engineer, I ensured the reliability and security of our web applications and AWS architectures through rigorous vulnerability testing and timely fixes.

As an intern with the Microsoft Security Response Center, I had the invaluable opportunity to contribute to the development of a proof-of-concept (POC) for a novel feature within Azure Sentinel, Microsoft's advanced incident response platform. This innovative addition is designed to empower security professionals in their goal to identify and neutralize adversaries within Azure systems. By enabling experts to simultaneously query the current state of multiple machines, the feature streamlines the information-gathering process and enhances overall efficiency, fortifying Azure's security infrastructure against potential threats.

As the lead software engineer for the California Cyber Innovation Challenge, I was responsible for driving the development and implementation of an advanced virtual forensics and cybersecurity competition tailored to middle and high school students. This intensive, 7-hour challenge provides a crucial opportunity for participants to hone their technical abilities, laying a strong foundation for their future academic and professional endeavors. Capitalizing on my experience in software development, I was committed to ensuring the best execution of this project, empowering the upcoming generation of technology professionals with the essential knowledge and hands-on experience required to excel in an increasingly dynamic technological environment.

Utilizing customer-centric and design-driven methodologies, our team successfully developed a Digital Recall Roster for Luke Air Force Base in Arizona over an 11-week period. This innovative project encompassed the design and implementation of a robust web application, leveraging the power of React.js and supported by the infrastructure of Amazon Web Services. This strategic approach ensured the delivery of a high-quality, user-focused solution, streamlining the recall process and enhancing overall operational efficiency for the Air Force Base.

Helped teach a class of 20 high school students the fundamentals of cybersecurity and IT for the National CyberPatriot competition.
