As the Director of Operations in AEG, I have been involved in all aspects related to construction after the project has been awarded. - Starting with developing PMOs and project plans to have a fully operational place.- Staff recruiting, onboarding, and training (Program Managers, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, etc.)- Set up the financial and production systems on site.- Monitor and control day to day operations.- Staff rotations and traveling coordination.- Risk management and closing of each project.- Procurement of fleet, technical tools and equipment.- Procurement of materials and vendor relations.My duties also include overseeing and managing fleet assets and company equipment, labor resources’ contractual agreements and allocation, and being the president of the safety committee Oversaw 4-10 FTTH projects simultaneously all over the U.S. ranging anywhere from 250mi-5000mi with an annual revenue of about $80M and total contract value of over $400M. Lastly, I worked closely with every department to ensure the company’s success as follows: - Worked with engineering to ensure all deliverables were being handed to operations in a timely manner in order to keep proforma in line. - Worked with HR on company growth, employee management/development and company marketing. Successfully completed the company’s growth plan on which the staff number had to triple in 2 years.- Worked with finance to run the operations smoothly while keeping a positive cash flow.- Worked with all operations management levels within the projects (underground labor, all the way up to Program Managers and Senior Project Managers) offering guidance, leadership, and mentorship to overcome any roadblocks on the projects.- Worked with material vendors and develop projection plans for proper material deliveries to maximize storage use and company cashflow.

At Vankirk Electric I was able to perform two different roles, I started as a Project Engineer for the first 6 months and basically did all the pre-con work required to start (3) multi-family projects; as soon as the projects kicked off, I was promoted to Project Manager and acquired (4) more projects, for a total of (7) all over the southeast of the U.S.Projects were a mix of high/low-rise, wrap/podium and garden style. I'm very familiar with all aspects of construction and electrical construction on all these building types. Project list and descriptions can be provided upon request.Daily duties were as follows:- Verify pre-con work (plans, layouts, submittals, etc.) to meet project standards.- Design and perform a plan of action.- Monitor and control daily activities by overseeing a team of (7) Superintendents, (7) Project Coordinators and (3) Project Engineers.- Change orders and estimating process for plans revisions.- Material and labor projections.- Weekly material orders.- Value Engineering on set of drawings for optimal cost efficiency. - Manage contractors’ SOVs, customer’s SOVs and OOS invoices.- Hiring and training of company staff and subcontractors.- Attend contractors' meetings acting as the main liaison between VKE and the GC being able to take and perform monetary decisions on site.- Technical and construction advisor for peers and field staffing

-Complete Phase 1 Pre-construction milestones.-Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans, conferring with management.-Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, contract scope, and performance standards.-Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.-Generate and deliver to the operations team appropriate scopes, plans, layouts, and other jobs pertinent information-Produce electrical estimates to ensure all bill of materials are ready for ordering by the project manager.

At April Painting I had the opportunity to lead 6-10 remodeling crews simultaneously all over metro-Atlanta to perform residential remodeling projects with all kinds of different scopes. Main goal was to undertake projects while keeping the company’s margin above 30% and providing excellent customer service. Most of our projects were referrals.Daily duties were as follows:- Create BOMs for new projects and purchase items from proper vendors.- Subcontractor recruiting and training.- Project and crew scheduling and coordination.Material forecast and cost projections.- Sales and estimates.- Company marketing.- Troubleshooting and field performance (when required)
