Post-doctoral reseacher in the RSE Laboratory at University of Washington under the supervision of Prof. Dieter Fox. I obtained my PhD degree from the University of Zaragoza at the Robotics, Perception and Real Time group. I am interested in omnidirectional vision, from calibration to its application in robotics tasks. I am also intereseted in visual motion estimation, SLAM, Structure from Motion, tracking and machine learning, in particular deep learning.

Participation at the DARPA Robotics Challenge with team TROOPER developing and implementing perception algorithms to assist the robot operator in the interpretation of the world: - Visual odometry stereo multi-environment library (MEVO). - 3D object recognition

Collaboration with Kostas Daniilidis on building topological maps using a visual compass from omnidirectional images.

Collaboration with Peter Sturm on hybrid two-view relations of conventional and omnidirectional cameras.
