Responsible for the global procurement of goods and services for the disposables division of Ivenix. Lead the Ivenix high volume production scale up, Manufacturing Engineering and New Product Introduction programs, overseeing supplier selection, qualification, negotiations, contracting, commercialization and life-cycle management across the global supplier base.Responsible for a global contract manufacturing portfolio supporting the disposables business division. Leadership of teams of 50+ with responsibility for CM/OEM engineering operations, supplier management, sourcing, sterilization, and freight. Oversee diverse capabilities, diverse SKU counts, and NPD launch support.Led multiple strategic initiatives to exceed KPIs, implementing improved processes, collaboration, capital investments, and realignment of long-term planning strategies. Achieved key targets including quality, service, innovation, and total cost management.Promoted a culture dedicated to quality, service, innovation, and optimization/continuous improvement.

Lead of two manufacturing facilities in Grand Rapids Michigan which together represent the largest Viant manufacturing location in the US with over 400 employees, 12 customers and over 60 manufacturing lines. In charge for the entire site’s organization, including operations, operational excellence, engineering, program management, quality, supply chain, finance and human resources. Responsible for the overall site’s performance and its key performance indicators including but not limited to revenue, EBITDA, on time delivery, inventory turns and specific metrics associated to safety, quality and employee retention.

Site lead for the largest manufacturing assembly site in the US (+$80M) with direct responsibility of +300 employees, +50 manufacturing lines and +500 different SKUs. Responsible for operations and supporting areas such as operational excellence, engineering, project management, quality and supply chain. In charge for the overall site’s performance and key performance indicators including but not limited to revenue, EBITDA, on time delivery, inventory turns and specific metrics associated to safety, quality and employee retention.

Responsible for the engineering department of two manufacturing sites in Grand Rapids Michigan, in charge of 20 engineers, 1 engineering manager and 1 program manager. Led the launch and implementation of 2 new product introduction programs, working closely with customers, suppliers and other Viant manufacturing sites in design for manufacturing, process development and production ramp up. Responsible for process improvements, capacity increase and cost savings initiatives intended to support production and PNL on existing manufacturing lines.

Reporting to the Engineering Director, responsible for the coordination of the engineering department for 7 different product lines, with 10 engineering direct reports. In charge of the coordination of resources for carrying out the different engineering activities including, but not limited to, product and process sustaining, process improvements (six sigma and lean manufacturing), product design related projects, capacity increase projects, supplier management issues, root cause analysis, cost reduction efforts, quality compliance and cost reduction initiatives. The Black Belt leader and trainer for the entire facility and Subject Matter Expert for external audits. Accountable for Lean Manufacturing, 5s program implementation and Kaizen events coordination. Main achievements include supporting the ramp of two product lines, with a capacity increase of 100% within 4 months, non-conformance events reduced by 75% and improvement of on time resolution of quality corrective actions (CAPAs)

Worked on the transfer and launch of a new product line. This included completing validation activities, ramp up and sustaining of the product. Transfer of five different products, from manufacturing facilities in Boston and Indianapolis to manufacturing facility in Costa Rica.
