I am an international cross-functional leader with 20+ years of experience delivering diverse software projects and managing operations at a different scale. Although most of my career has been around telecommunications, I am well-versed in more comprehensive business models and strategies. My passion for problem-solving, curiosity, and tenacity makes me believe that we can fix anything by applying energy, talent, and the correct mindset. My career journey started in technology in different capacities: as a Software Developer, Project Manager, Technical Consultant, and then as a Program Manager (where I successfully delivered a complex program of 5 projects across 18 countries in Latin America). After this satisfactory experience, I decided to embark on the adventure of managing my own business, risking my career by moving to an unrelated field. Unfortunately, mine was not a complete success story in business terms, but I gained experience in Operations, Sales, Priorities, and Goals Definition around an established Strategy. It was also a unique school on leadership style and self-awareness. All this enhanced my confidence and abilities for future tasks. I was extremely fortunate as I got one more chance to return to a corporate position filling different roles in AT&T. First as Program Owner, Technical Architect, and as Customer Care Director for DIRECTV GO (an OTT platform in the Latin America market, including Brazil). In this last role, I designed and implemented a customer care framework by successfully orchestrating and providing clarity on goals for the involved teams. As a result, customers were served in 8 countries by increasing customer satisfaction while maintaining costs under budget.Currently I am in the Strategic Project Management Office in charge of the Portfolio Management Practice. My role is to prioritize what needs to be done based on quantitative models and then guarantee execution.Mine is not a traditional career story; however, I am grateful that all these experiences, relationships, and roles have helped me expand my perspective.
