• Writing & maintaining Engineering and Special Processes Procedures• Performing external and internal audits.• Responsible of the complete transference of manufacturing operations: o Gulfstream Advanced Air Duct Program transfer from Jackson, MI to Tijuana, MX. o Boeing 787 duct program manufacturing transfer from Toccoa, GA to Tijuana, MX. o Manufacturing process development for Gulfstream´s Piccolo Wing Anti-Ice in Tijuana, MX.• Responsible of manufacturing assessments, requirement reviews, BOM, PFMEAs, manufacturing routings, SOP & visual aids creation, fixture validation, FAIR validation and production hand-off.• Create deviations for non-conforming products in addition to ensure that ECOs are implemented accordingly.• Capital expense quoting & monitoring for new projects (CAPEX); equipment & tool purchasing, validation & release to production.• Experience in special processes such as non-destructive testing (NDT), welding (TIG), heat treating & coatings.• Team leader in continuous improvement projects such as setup reduction & rapid kaizen events as well as using lean tools to implement in new production cells.• Lead cost out projects such as: cut to length ducting purchase with a 10% saving vs full length purchasing.• Strong communication skills across different levels: customer & parent site.
