This research study was aimed to find changes in microbial community structures, due to tidal changes, in two costal places in Charleston Harbor. After sample collection and determining microbial community composition, we used analysis of variance (2-way ANOVA) to determine if there were statistical difference between both sites and tidal stages. This research experience expanded beyond the internship duration. The research study was concluded in August 2017 with a scientific publication.
