As a Distribution Engineer at KCI Technologies, I apply my engineering skills and degree to design, analyze, and optimize overhead and underground distribution systems for various clients using BOUD, Maximo and Pole Foreman to providing an accurate inventory, print and necessary calculations to ensure adherence of NESC standards and distribution standards. I have been working at KCI Technologies for 11 months, and I have contributed to large Feeder Hardening and Lateral Hardening projects.I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, where I gained a solid foundation in engineering principles, mathematics, and physics. I am passionate about engineering and its infinite applications to improve the efficiency, reliability and sustainability of mechanical and electrical systems. As an engineer I am always eager to learn new skills and widen my knowledge because I firmly believe we have to power and knowledge to improve and make a better world
