Currently promoting my documentary A Place To Sit and organizing a sustainable future with like-minded individuals. I am an artist/musician living in Victoria Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas in '86, I worked for Austin Records as studio manager of Austin's Riverside Sound, working with Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Johnson, Omar and the Howlers and tons of excellent musicians. I began painting in '88 as a replacement for TV, and have advanced in that area enough to sell my work online at my store "Art By Lowell". I owned my own recording studio in Austin from '91 thru '95 called "Breakfast Surreal Studio" and played as bassist in the bands Sea of Green and Los Locos. I have traveled throughout Mexico and Latin America many times and speak Spanish fluently. Relocating to Tucson in '96, I worked with the Salsa band Ache' Pa' Ti as sound engineer and traveled to Cuba with them for the Jazz Festival, where I learned to play the Guiro, a vital percussion instrument in Salsa Music. Recently I have developed my singing and acoustic guitar into a 4 hour act as Luis Sabor, featuring songs of the 60's & 70's, Latin faves, and original songs.Specialties: Guiro, Spanish, Impressionist Oil Painting, Acoustic Guitar, Singing, Sound Engineer, Bassist
