Human Resources Management• Provide functional management and administrative support, including staffing, performance management, training, and employee development for approximately 1200 employees.• Manage documentation and verify information as required for new hires: processing credentialing applications and assure collection of appropriate licensures.• Interpret policy, procedure and benefit handbook guidelines and adjust according to changes through the union negotiation process.Benefits Administration• Conduct weekly orientation and enroll new employees in the various health and dental plans; including term life insurance plans, managing supplemental insurance and long-term disability.• Coordinate annual Open Enrollment with approximately 800 benefit eligible employees at multiple locations to facilitate an efficient transition into the new plan year.• Managing Cobra enrollments with former employees to ensure continuity in coverage.• Organize Flexible Spending, Dependent Care and HRA processes for new and existing employees.Training and Development• Process Continuing Education Unit (CEU) applications for employee license recertification’s; distribute CEU certificates to training attendees on course completion.• Manage online training profiles through the Essential Learning web portal and monitor compliance with established deadlines for completions to provide reporting feedback to Program Managers and divisional Vice Presidents.• Create credentialing profiles, verify active licensure through state databases, and maintain active status through upkeep, monthly reporting and follow-up with employees.
