Sonata is a self service platform focused in doing mobile geo located advertising campaigns by targeting specific audience segments. It allows you to access inventory all around the world by being connected to Sonata DSP & DMP which can supply specific targets of people and that also allows you to set really advanced options, such as blacklisting, weather conditions, uv, device targeting, retargeting....In charge of the scrum backlog management and refinement, reviewing the product road map periodically with the CTO to decide new needs, issues or story lines definition and managing. Daily team management and support of other teams, specially the client support team. Product architecture decisions and technology needs related to the product. And also product development.About the product, the platform is built entirely using JS, by using NodeJS Express framework combined it with TypeScript in the backend, in the front-end we are using Backbone framework and we've started to migrate different parts or components to React. It uses MongoDB as the storage database and it also connects to an ElasticSearch cluster for reporting needs. Redis is also used to synchronize data among all the different servers and SocketIO is used also to scale data syncing in the front-end part. (Among many other technologies in the stack of Sonata).

Sonata Indoor is focused in indoor targeting using iBeacon technology. We have developed an SDK for Android and IOS devices, along with an entire platform capable of managing marketing campaigns based on iBeacons, allowing to measure real attribution of people that go to specific geo targeted places.In charge of designing the architecture of the initial product, including both IOS and Android SDKs. In 2014 we were one of the few that have a complete functional SDK with a reporting platform working and fully operational. In charge of the scrum backlog management and refinement, and in charge of the daily product management in terms of development.The platform was built using Symfony2 as the PHP framework for the back-end and it's connected with a Redis and MongoDB to make the platform more capable of supporting high loads of events from our iBeacon SDK.For certain event tasks nodeJS is also in the mix. A RESTFUL server is handle by Symfony2 and its FOSRestServer bundle, but it also relies in Redis and Node JS for certain heavy tasks. In the front-end part the platform uses foundation framework in order to meet the necessary standards of a world which is more mobile dependent day after day.In the mobile part we have several APIs for our iOS and Android SDKs which are standalone libraries which are built for easy integration with existing apps and to work completely independent.

As the Technical Lead of the team I was involved in deciding important technical aspects in several projects, deciding the stack that the project was going to use, writing and reviewing technical documents (requirements and testing documents), and the development scope of the project.I was involved in the daily task planning of the team. We were working under a custom agile methodology, having periodically status meetings twice a week and we were having groups of tasks (similar to sprints) of 2-3 weeks depending on the project.I was mainly focus in some of the projects in terms of pure development, continuing with the support and improvement of our Market Research Platform and giving also support to some other sensitive corporate related projects. All of them as I've said previously have a strong focus in the UI by using jQuery/jQueryUI/Sass in the front side and making usability one of the main priorities on the front side. The backend as many other projects was generally built on different PHP frameworks such as Drupal or Symfony and using MySQL or MongoDB as the database engines depending on the project data need.

I was involved in projects for different clients, they were all oriented to customer loyalty. They were CRM oriented projects and all of them have similar stack: PHP & MYSQL & Jquery.I was involved in the early definition stages creating technical documentation but also in the developing process. In the team we were four software developers working together.Our office was in charge of developing EMEA G2i market research tool, it was first developed using Drupal but we managed to create custom JS apps integrated inside this platform. We developed an important UI layer with JS & jQuery on top of it.My role was as expained to prepare technical documentation during the early stages of these projects but also I was also developing the major part of the time.We didn’t have any agile development metodology, we were working with delivery milestones and using Gant diagrams in order to somehow organized ourselves.

SeniorPCP is a Spanish Avanza project (TIC) which is focus on helping people with alzheimer, making them more independent by providing them a smartphone with an app that position them and help them during the day.I was involved in the support of the mobile app, built under Android 1.6. And I was aso involved in the development of the web site of SenionrPCP roject, build under Joomla 1.5, this platform was in communication with the app showing positioning data in real time and providing different tools and documents about the project.

Working on different freelance projects, all had the same in common, they were built in PHP using Joomla 1.0-1.5 as its CMS. My job was giving support to these different projects, creating new modules for Joomla, creating small MySQL scripts also and giving support in maintenance tasks mainly.
