Passionate about international development. During the pandemic, I moved to Colombia to finally take on a personal and professional dream of piloting a Communities Dream Project I designed. Spent months living in the poorest towns in the Caribbean and first-hand learned about the hardships of poverty while training 60 new community leaders in this town. A tremendous experience. Now bringing Canadian volunteers with me during school breaks to teach English in the community. Also, I have a curious mind... Are Megacities ideal urban models for cities in development? This is the overarching topic of my current MA thesis. Thinking of pursuing a PhD. to best understand the future of urbanization in small towns in LA.As an Analyst at Global Affairs Canada, I constantly look for ways to streamline internal procedures so aid is disbursed effectively to Canadian and International Organizations. As a Grants and Contributions Advisor, I advise on fiduciary and procurement risks to International Organizations. I have an Honors Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto with Majors in International Development, Environmental Policy & Practice, and a minor in Political Science. In 2014 I got invited to study Theology and Philosophy at the University of the Holy Cross in Rome and completed the degree in 2017.
