Luisa is currently managing Austrade’s Agribusiness & Food Team in the Investment Division. This role manages a team that supports foreign direct investment into Australian Agribusiness and Food industry. In this role Luisa manages a national team that works across Agribusiness and Food sector developing and implementing strategies to identify and engage investors to facilitate their investment strategies, support investor requests and visit programs and manage relationships with key government and industry stakeholders. Luisa also contributes strategic analysis and insight to the Federal Government regarding foreign investment in the agribusiness and food sector.

The China Investment Specialist role works across Austrade’s Investment team in Australia and China on specific Chinese investment attraction strategies including engagement with investors and stakeholders. Luisa helps facilitate Austrade’s investment attraction activities, acting as a bridge between onshore and offshore, and contributes strategic analysis and insight to encourage and support Chinese investment in key Federal Government priority sectors. Luisa is based in Brisbane but travels interstate regularly.
