My name is Luisa Andrade, I’m a freshman at Florida International University, and I major in communications and art history. I hope to work in the film production industry sometime in the future. As well as film, I’m very passionate about volunteer work. I’ve always had a big connection with Broward county and I love working with them. I founded HIP in my high school, a project that stands for “Health Information Project”. We taught over 1,120 freshmen about mental/physical health, to help them understand their emotions through support and encouragement.I was the president of Habitat for Humanity, and I still work with them in college. I organized and lead 150+ club members and trained 20+ officers per year. I hosted monthly meetings, beach clean ups, and donated and helped build over 3 houses to our community.
