Provide independent and consistent model validation across various risk types by review the methodology implemented for reasonableness and applicability, analyze the quality of the model's input data, assess soundness of model methodology, review the architecture of the software application implementing the model, perform quantitative tests and qualitative assessments of the model, execute independent calculations, and analyze/interpret model output.

▪ Monitoring risk programs: Development of queries in SQL for the monitoring and construction of Performance and Risk Indicators (KPI & KRI) as well as management and operational dashboards in Power BI on the NIRA and TPRM Risk Programs for Global Operations - Scotiabank.▪ Development of the KPI program: Work in collaboration with the business units in the definition, development and improvement of Key Indicators of Operational and Strategic Risk, as well as the development of Management Reports in Power BI for GBS Colombia and Dominican Republic.▪ Data Governance Program: Support and advise the Data Steward in the Data Governance Program’s implementation for the mitigation of Data’s risks for GBS Colombia and the Dominican Republic.

▪ Identify, structure, describe and integrate the data that is required to fulfill its mission, including the definition of the life cycle, roles and responsibilities of data management and governance.▪ Identify opportunities for improvement in data quality▪ Generation of analytical reports and/or dashboards

▪ Development and automation of operational safety indicators using Power BI for continuous monitoring, and identification of organizational problems that may result in an event or plane crash.▪ Development of executive reports, statistical studies and trends that allow predictive/proactive support to strategic decisions in operational safety with a diversity of data sources.▪ Perform taxonomy assignment and risk assessment by carrying out verification of the most appropriate descriptors for the operational events captured.▪ Conduct the development of investigations of operational events, incidents and serious accidents occurred by applying defined investigation methodologies, identifying active and latent failures in order to generate alerts and activate relevant mitigation processes.
